The Greens

In 2019, a toothpick cactus at Home Depot quietly caught my attention, as if sending a private signal. Years later, during a Chicago architectural boat tour, a Green Rubber Duck appeared while I ducked inside to escape an unexpected rain shower.

Separated by time and context, the two eventually met and, somehow, they get along just fine.
